Hello! I’m still here and still walking. We also have an introduction to make and I can’t believe I’m saying this…..but I’m a dog Mum!! All the nattering from my youngest including her special PowerPoint presentation a few years ago, finally worked. Our 10 week old puppy recently joined our home and we are so excited to explore her new world with her. She’s currently affectionately known as the land shark – those little teeth are sharp! I’ll be looking for dog walking and puppy tips, so if you have any, please send them may way. I need to know all the dog friendly walks and puppy friendly places we can visit for when she’s big enough.
We have still been walking, although remained slightly confined to barracks as our youngest is still injured. A pesky knee injury acquired whilst dancing is still plaguing our Daughter and she can’t walk far (or dance!). We’re awaiting results of a second MRI scan, so fingers crossed.
Mr Hip2trek and I did manage to sneak a weekend away recently and had a lovely walk near Betws-y-coed. His old stomping ground and an opportunity for some much needed tranquillity! I’ve also some other posts to write including our trips to Scotland and Northumberland. Time flies and I still don’t seem to find enough hours in the day, or energy, to do everything I want to. The posts are coming though. I still manage to find some trees wherever we go and I’m delighted that at last the weather seems to be improving. I get up for work and it’s light and I’m not coming back in the dark anymore, woohoo!
Don’t forget I’m on Facebook and Instagram. Come say hi and if you’ve got any tips or places to explore then let me know. Hope you’ve all been having some great adventure. Maybe I’ll see you on a footpath soon! Love Hip2trek x
