Hips, trips, training and getting kids outside!
The last weekend of half term meant just enough time to squeeze in another spooky family day outside. We headed to Piglets Adventure Farm, just off the A64 near York, for their pumpkin festival. There’s so much to do at the farm, and once you’ve paid to get in you’re free to have a go…
We fancied a walk and some half term fun after the weather and a nasty virus had us cooped up at home, so headed to Lotherton Hall, not far from Leeds just off the A1. With a spooky scarecrow trail, adventure playground and lovely grounds to wander in it was just the outing we needed….
We had a funny weekend this weekend, hubby was working and my plans to visit the Peak District with the kids were floored by a sinus headache. The weather has been really odd too hasn’t it? so I had no idea what to wear either. We did make to the kids Grandparents and us girls…
After a wet and blustery start to the weekend I was relieved to wake up to brighter skies this morning. My plan was to visit Nell Bank near Ilkley, for a leaf trail that was part of the Ilkley Arts trail. Every October artists from around the area get an opportunity to showcase their works….
